It’s that time of year again! We’ve completed the 2010 edition of Brew-Ha! Oregon’s guide to “all things beer” and it is available across Oregon. Every year we publish the map of Oregon brewpub and brewery locations in a convenient and informative packed guide that can be packed around from location to location as you discover the amazing brewing culture that the region has to offer.
In this years guide you’ll find a calendar of brewfestivals and events scheduled throughout the year, the largest list ever of breweries and brewpubs, the history of brewing in Oregon and handy maps of the locations. We are always working on enhancing the guide from year to year and 2010 is no exception. This year along with maps of Portland and Oregon you’ll also find maps of Eugene and Bend for easier navigation.
If you’re coming to Oregon for a vacation or an expedition of breweries, this is the only tour guide you’ll need. And if you need one before you come to Oregon send us an email and we’ll get one mailed out to you.

We’ve had great success lately by leveraging the existing abundance of tools in the WordPress community as a structural foundation for new business websites. From the client side, WordPress provides a great ability to manage their own content and create breaking news updates or news alerts as easily as sending a common email. It’s not unusual for clients to get a grim look on their face when the word “blog” is mentioned. This is the part where we explain that they are not going to be expected to share personal information about their private habits, but rather will have the ability to control the site content on as frequent a basis as they like. It’s a very powerful tool indeed. Add to the top the fact that there are a huge number of “plug-ins” that will expand the site capabilities and you can see the allure of developing sites on a WordPress architecture.
I wanted to include a list of example sites that we’ve actually designed recently so you can see the use of the dynamic content in action.
Joe King & Associates
The Burrito House
Gregerson & Langsdorf, LLC
These sites show dynamic content on the front pages with some static pages inside the site and then the dedicated newsroom for the blog entries. There are many other ways to utilize the database that controls your content; that’s one of the funnest parts of these projects.
