Adair HomesĀ® Corporate Brochure Redesign

When Adair Homes came to us for a new brochure they wanted more than an update, they wanted a redesign that represented the quality they put into their homes. This is the message they wanted us to convey through this customer brochure workbook. Making the leap to buy a new home is the largest purchase most people will make in their lifetimes, for that reason it’s critical that Adair Homes prove that they are watching all the details. One of the first opportunities to begin building the story that they are committed to quality was with this brochure that they present to each prospective customer.

Boys & Girls Clubs of SW Washington Event Design

Each year the Boys & Girls Clubs of SW Washington hosts an auction fundraiser to fund their yearly projects. The need is significant, and their benefit to the community immeasurable. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to get donors in the door. Thatā€™s where the invitations come inā€”the Boys & Girls Clubs wanted invitees to know this was a not-to-be-missed event!

The 2015 Gala theme was ā€œThe Triple Crown Celebration.ā€ The invitation design incorporated a deep wine color and gold foil reminiscent of the legendary Kentucky Derby race. Accompanying print media supported the gala evening, and overall, nearly one million dollars was raised at the auction.

BiokleenĀ® Product Label Designs

Way before being ā€˜greenā€™ was cool, Jim Rimer set out to transform the chemical cleaning industry. His vision paid off. Biokleen produces 100% effective plant and mineral based home care products. We had the privilege of working with this world-changing company by designing labels for their new compostable, recyclable 32 oz. bottles of laundry detergent and dish liquid.

We incorporated elements of their existing branding to create a seamless flow throughout their product family. We strove to remain consistent with the use of logos, colors, fonts and flower images while also creating a new, attractive counter-top design.

Be cool. Be green! Biokleen.

BREW-HA! Annual Brewery Guides

The Pacific Northwest was once known for salmon. Tall evergreens. Rain-soaked beaches and fogged-over valleys and fresh apples as big as your head. But today, weā€™re proud to say weā€™ve changed all that! The BREW-HA! Brewery Guide identifies and maps every sweet little craft brewery hidden in the beer playground we call the Pacific Northwest.

ASK Advertising developed strong partnerships with both the Washington Beer Commission and the Oregon Brewers Guild to develop a marketing piece that promotes the craft beer industry in each state. The BREW-HA! Brewery Guide is pocket-sized, pin-points brewery locations, and features amenities and contact information for each mandatory stop-over.

The end-result supports itself: grab a beer and enjoy the unparalleled natural beauty on either side of the great Columbia.

Ridgefield School Bond Measure Direct Mail Campaign

Recently, The Ridgefield School District faced a shortage. Like many public school districts across the country, insufficient funding was deeply effecting their ability to provide students with the safe maintained facilities, and well-rounded educational opportunities their community had come to expect. ASK Advertising created a compelling slogan and seven-piece direct mail campaign to communicate the essential needs of the districtā€”and call the community to action. Educating the public and rallying their votes was critical to the success of the bond measure.

Hop Harvest Beer Days Festival

Hop Harvest Beer Days is our own special baby. Created to celebrate local beers and support a neighborhood non-profit (Metropolitan Performing Arts Academy), the event brought together two worthy causes we could really get behind. ASK Advertising created Hop Harvest Beer Days, organized the event, designed the custom hand-lettered and illustrated logo, spearheaded the branding, and strutted the swag.

Branding this event was paramount. We needed to communicate how this beer event was different from all the rest. As a fresh hop festival, the Hop Harvest Beer Days featured beers brewed from just-harvested hops. These local and regional beers from Southwest Washington have a sweeter flavor than those produced with dried hopsā€”plus there is a narrow window of time in which one can enjoy these of-the-moment beverages.

By using a bright green color and a fresh hop bud as the logo, the idea behind the festival was immediately apparent. More importantly, the inaugural event was fun, a little wild, and a big success.

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Season Concert Guides

If thereā€™s anywhere left to wear an evening jacketā€”this is the place. Soaring concertos, delicate minuets, and so many string instruments itā€™s a good thing they provide a concert program guide. ASK Advertising provides the art direction and design for each of the annual concert series program guidesā€”fantastic resources for the novice and the professional audiophile.

Northwest Realty Elite Branding

Where do champagne wishes and caviar dreams lead? Directly towards Northwest Realty Eliteā€”a premier Pacific Northwest real estate company for luxury home buyers and sellers.

Introducing them to the community was a priorityā€”and we admitā€”kinda fun. We created a branding package for Northwest Realty Elite that included a new logo, signage, and print collateral. We established their regional presence with a branch and pinecone motif, and designed signage that would reflect their customer base: elegant, refined, and local. Print collateral complimented the total branding package.

Craft Brewers Conference Symposium Beer Label Designs

Thereā€™s really only one place a hop-head can quaff and talk bung holes with over 10,000 of his closest compatriotsā€”the Craft Brewers Conference. A touchstone for the entire craft brewing industry, the CBC is held in different cities each year, and serves both brew pubs and packaging breweries.

In 2015, Portland, Oregon hosted the Craft Brewers Conference. This opportunity brought out the very best in Oregonā€™s regional brewersā€”and in a collaborative effort with the Oregon Brewers Guild, resulted in six outstanding new beers, memorably unveiled at the CBC.

ASK Advertising had the honor of creating a label for each of these NW craft brews. The labels were printed in a variety of methods, and designed to invoke the hardy, yet eccentric spirit of the Pacific Northwest. Thirsty for more? This Chucklehead’s on us.

A little more information about each of the beers is featured here.
